In line with the global trend of conducting science festivals, SVB's International School Dombivli has been organizing National Science Festival.The objective is to ignite creative, collective scientific thinking and interaction among the participants that enhances their further interest in science.

More than 50,000 schoolchildren thronged NES International school, Mumbai-IB World, Mulund, during a two-day space exhibition. The space exhibition, was organized in collaboration with ISRO.Over 16 sections covering ISRO activities were on display, including launch vehicles PSLV and GSLV, Chandrayaan and Mangalyaan.

Makerspace provides hands-on, creative ways to encourage students to design, experiment, build and invent as they deeply engage in science, engineering and tinkering. A makerspace is not solely a science lab, woodshop, computer lab or art room, but it may contain elements found in all of these familiar spaces. We have 13 such clubs which are conducted on weekly basis.

In the final year of the PYP, students carry out an extended, in-depth, collaborative project known as the PYP exhibition. This involves students working collaboratively to conduct an in-depth inquiry into real life issues or problems. Students collectively synthesize all of the essential elements of the PYP in ways that can be shared with the whole school community.

A culminating annual event- grade wise carnival showcases the learning achievements of the students. Learners in collusion with teachers prepare and present this academic programme and also receive their grade books at the hands of the Founder President Dr. R. Varadarajan.

Getting the basics right! The new parents and students are initiated into the IB Programme with a tuning in for the same. They are front loaded with the right information and introduced to the IB philosophy and inquiry based teaching methodology.
