FAQ's

SVBISD provides International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum till grade 8 and Cambridge IGCSE curriculum in grades 9 and 10.
IB curriculum follows inquiry-based, conceptual learning rather than just theoretical learning, unlike most Indian curricula. IB curriculum emphasizes an integrated approach for learning different subjects rather than a fragmented one usually followed in other curricula. This varied approach helps understand the interconnectedness among concepts and to achieve holistic development of the learners. IB also focuses on enhancing the intercultural awareness of learners, high-order thinking skills, and communication skills. By encouraging the learners to explore the world around them, by having a real-life understanding of the concepts learned, and through service action, IB promotes different life skills. Therefore, IB assessments equally emphasize testing the knowledge of the learners and the skills they develop.
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is one of the most popular certifications for Secondary school education offered by the Cambridge Assessment International Education (commonly known as Cambridge or CIE -Cambridge International Examinations). Cambridge IGCSE helps improve learners' performance by developing creative thinking, enquiry and problem-solving skills. It is the perfect launchpad for advanced study.
